As a Wishtrend Affiliate I am one of the lucky few who gets to try out the upcoming lines and new product (occasionally) and this time it’s the ‘I’m From Liquorice’ Line and so here is my experience of the 3 steps process and what i think of it.
Pic
The ‘I’m From Liquorice’ Line features a range of products infused with the goodness of natural liquorice extract. The three products are as follows.
Cleansing Pads
Soothing Ampoule
Calming Cream
Product Design
Let’s start with the packaging. The color scheme is so pretty! The White and Turquoise are aesthetically pleasing to the point of making them worth being a feature on a shelf rather than just lost amongst all your beauty products in a bathroom.
Cleansing Pads
This is a really well packaged, sophisticated product! The pot has a waterproof cover so as to keep the pads moist and well insulated – its also comes with a pair of plastic tweezers that attach onto the lid – so you can keep the pads free from the oils on your fingers.
The pads themselves have a bumpy textured side and a smooth side. The bumpy textured side is for exfoliation which I did find worked a charm without irritating my sensitive skin which is perfect. Then the smooth side I just dabbed on and let sit for a couple of minutes to give more of a mask like effect. After just one application I found my skin felt lovely and smooth with a creamy, filmy feel. Obviously the improvement will come with time (hopefully).
Overall the product is really good, the exfoliation worked without leaving any redness and my skin does feel a lot calmer.
Ampoule
Again the clean turquoise and white look really stands out on my bathroom shelf.
The product itself was a little confusing though, as the bottle has what looks like a screw top which slowly raises a flat pop-out section. When you remove the cap, you find there is a dropper and then use the pop-out section to squirt the product into your hand. But watch out it can splash out rather quickly.
The product itself applies really smoothly and absorbed quickly. It wasn’t overly tacky and there was no reactions to my sensitive skin so I’m looking forward to see how this ampoule preforms in the long term.
Cream
The final step in the Liquorice set – The cream.
This tube is perfect to take on holiday with its compact packaging.
The cream is ok – not the best I’ve had from the ‘I’m From’ range, personally I lean more towards the Rice line.
However it’s easy to apply, has no scent and absorbs into the skin effortlessly. There is no tackiness once applied and it does have a calming quality almost immediately.
Again, I’m looking forward to see how my skin (scars and redness) improves with time.
If my initial experience is any indication, the ‘I’m From Liquorice’ Line is definitely worth the hype and i’m eager to keep using it and see the long term results.
At around £21-29 (retail) each they are in-keeping with the market for similar products and will be available on Wishtrend soon and if you want a discount don’t forget to use my discount code here.
