World of Coffee

A few weeks back we moved the Coffee Shop Map to its own page and since then we have been reviewing the lists and updating them. In doing so we realised we were missing a small but significant selection of coffee shops which are now included. Today however we thought we would just tell you about the new selection on our Map!

We have the Coffee Map which you may have seen or if you haven’t it’s on the tabs bar above and on it’s own little page! Since moving it we have been revamping the list, reviewing all of the entries and going through all the coffee shops, tea shops and Boba Shops we have been to and reviewed over the last 8 years. Then seeing if each one still exists, if they are still operating under the same name, been taken over, changed hands or just turned into a florist or a house or something! Then we have adding a brief review on Google Reviews with a link to our posts (so everyone can see the full reviewed on the blog and see on our map).

In doing so we have realised that a number (a large number) of the good, the bad and the downright disgusting have gone for good or bad so have been moved to the RIP section. We have joined the Tea Shops in with the Boba/Milk Tea Shop Section, because Bird & Brew was really the only Tea Shop still in that section and was pointless it being there!

Then we realised we had missed out a fair number of Coffee Shops completely! Where, which, why? You may ask! Well ‘where’ is exactly the point. Though we have not travelled enough in our lives and not so much since doing this blog. We haven’t even left the UK in the last 4 years (since Covid) but we still have a number of coffee shops, bars and the like in places that we have been to. So now there will be a new selection on the map – The World Coffee section. We will add those places in Greece, Spain, Italy and… well we will see where we end up next! But for now if you head over to the map and see where in the world we have found coffee!

Meagre as our offering is at the moment – as a lot of the places we have been have currently closed – from this moment we will make sure we actually add Coffee shops as we go.

With that we ask for your help if you have a favourite coffee shop somewhere in the world that you want to tell us about we may add it to the list (crediting you and your review) so that we can spread the love of Java all over the globe. So tell us your favourite, where it is and why it is so good – the staff, the interior, the view, the choices, all of that and we will live the experience vicariously through you!!
