A few years back we started to watch K-Dramas as we were already into K-Pop it only seemed logical to watch a show or two and we told you all about the first batch that we had watched, but since then we have definitely fallen down the rabbit hole and are still falling, so here is a list of what we have watched so far and what we think of them…

We have listed them all and rated them and given you a brief plot line or description and our thoughts on each. Note Bob has watched a looooot more than Ash, so some only have one rating and there are two ratings because we don’t always agree!

| About Time – 2018 (Sci-Fi Drama) A young woman can see people’s life clock counting down, then she meet a man and her own clock starts to count up. Thoughts: Ash & Bob – Although this was a good female cast the male seemed really flat. The storyline was repetitive and ultimately didn’t get anywhere so we dropped it. | 2.5 | 3.5 |

Thoughts: Ash – It was ok, a bit bewildering at times as some of the actors talk very fast – they also seemed to lose who could control what element half way. | Alienoid 1 – 2022 (Movie) During the Goryeo dynasty, Taoists try to take a mysterious sword. In the present day, aliens appear on Earth. A time door soon appears between late Goryeo dynasty period and the present day. Due to this, chaotic situations occur. Thoughts: Ash – This was really good, random silly things happened (which weren’t slap stick) it had a bit of everything. Bob – This wasn’t bad there were portions that were strange but not in an unpleasant way. | 9.5 | 7.0 |

After many obstacles, she finds a new weapon that can open a time door and saves Thunder. | Bad and Crazy – 2021 (Cop Drama) A cop and his sidekick investigate a series of crimes, real Good Cop, Bad Cop Drama! Thoughts: Ash – OK the plot got lost a lot and it jumped about a bit too much and became silly! Bob – The plotline was a bit inconsistent and the big reveal didn’t make much sense but it had Lee Dong-Wook so…. | 5.0 | 8.0 |

She is a single mother who struggles to balance her work and personal life as she is raising a kid. Thoughts: Ash – I ended up liking the writer. She loved the meal so much, she decided to settle down in the seaside town and work at the bento shop. She now greets customers with a smile at the bento shop and makes small talk with them. Even though he has only a high school level education, he has achieved all of his success due to his extreme intelligence. | Extraordinary You – 2019 (Fantasy/WebDrama) A Student in a private school starts to realise she may be in a comic book character. | Forecasting Love and Weather – 2022 (Drama) A romance drama about the work and love in the office of National Weather Service, hotter than tropical nights and more unpredictable than localized heavy rains. Jin Ha Kyung is an intelligent and highly organized individual who does everything by the book and is fastidious about keeping her personal and professional lives separate. Due to her cold demeanor, she has few friends at work and has become an “outsider by choice.” Thoughts: Ash & Bob – It wasn’t bad but the ‘ex’ was so frigging annoying it brought the show down a bit for us. | 9.5 | 7.5 |

| Happiness – 2021 (Horror/Drama) Yoon Sae Bom is a special agent with quick wits and reflexes and another special quality. She earns the opportunity to move into a new apartment set aside for civil servants in a coveted apartment complex by pretending to marry high school friend Jung Yi Hyun. Yi Hyun is a detective investigating the spread of a mysterious disease. They are trapped in their apartment building. Thoughts: Ash – This was one of those – if you just say what you mean it would be all over and done with. Bob – This wasn’t bad there was some very annoying people but it wasn’t bad. | 7.0 | 7.5 |

| Hero – 2022 (Musical) A fighter for the Korean independence movement. Seol Hee used to be a court lady for Queen Myeongseong, but, after Queen Myseongseong was assassinated by the Japanese, Seol Hee takes part in Korean independence activity. Thoughts – Ash – It started off good but in the end all the songs sounded the same. Bob – The first musical (that was actually a musical) that we watched. | 5.0 | 8.0 |
| Hit the Spot – 2022 (Drama) A warm, friendly, considerate person, Hee Jae is surrounded by people who claim to know and love her. | Imitation -2021 (Drama) Lee Ma Ha is a member of the new K-pop girl group Tea Party, formed by Ji Hak, who was once the manager of the famous boy group Shax, but resigned after the sudden disappearance of member Eun Jo in the middle of a concert. Prior to joining Tea Party, Thoughts: Ash & Bob – We loved this show even though some of the people were either annoying or just odd! | 9.0 | 8.5 |
| Island – 2022 (Drama) Won Mi Ho is the only daughter of her father who runs Daehan Group. Her arrogant and selfish attitude causes her to make a big mistake that eventually angers her father into banishing her to Jeju island. There, she is assigned to work as a high school ethics teacher. Unbeknownst to her, the island is where evil roams free. Thoughts: Ash – Ash gave up at episode 2 – it was too confusing and slow! | Itaewon Class – 2020 (Drama) A Guy gets out of prison and opens a restaurant and tries to get revenge! Thoughts: Ash – It took a while to get going, we almost gave up a few times, but in the end it was good, just a bit slow in places and Ahn Bo-Hyun is the Joker! Bob – Such a convoluted plot but it was so so good! I did end up feeling sorry for Ahn Bo-hyun. | 7.0 | 8.0 |

| Life on Mars – 2018 (Sci-Fi Cops Drama) Based on the British show of the same name and premise, this gritty drama is good and clever Thoughts: Ash & Bob – Become a policeman all you have to do is kick people in the shins! | Live On – 2020 (Drama) Baek Ho Rang is the most popular girl in high school. Everybody wants to be her friend, and all of the boys dream of winning her heart. Although she is famously aloof, she is also a star on social media – with the whole school seemingly following her every post. | Mask Girl – 2023 (Drama) Kim Mo Mi is an ordinary office woman with a severe sense of inferiority in appearance and is caught up in various incidents while she is an internet broadcast jockey with her face covered with a mask. | May I Help You – 2022 A former professional ping pong athlete, who has just started to work as a funeral director. On her first day on the job she finds out she has the gift, or curse, to momentarily resurrect and talk to the recently deceased people when she touches them. Those people between life and death have last wishes she has to grant, or her days will be filled with a series of bad luck and accidents. Thoughts: Ash – After watching Hyemechepal – we wanted to watch more with her in – so this was a good place to start. | Wind-Bell – 2019 (Romance) Daniel, who was adopted to the US when he was 10 years old, coming back to Korea after becoming a world-class novelist. While he traces back in memory, he meets Yeo Jin, the editor helping Daniel with the publication of his book in Korea and the two soon realise some undeniable chemistry between them. | Yumi’s Cells – 2021 (Rom/Com) Based on the webtoon, it is a cell-based psychological romance that unravels the daily life of an ordinary office worker Yumi through the eyes of the cells in her head. Thoughts: Ash & Bob – A fun and creative way of getting the main character’s inner monologue instead of the usual weird stopping and talking to themselves, we liked the little people inside them! | 7.5 | 9.0 |

| Work Later, Drink Now – 2021 (Comedy) A group of young women going through several ups and downs regularly meet up for drinks after work and discuss the state of their lives. Thoughts: Ash & Bob – We only watched a few episodes even though it was highly rated, the plot was really inconsistent and confusing, we couldn’t deal with it. | 2.0 | 2.0 |
| Zombieverse – 2023 (Reality) A Group of people who are tricked into participating in a reality dating show in Seoul, which is overrun by zombies. The contestants must work together to escape the city and avoid becoming zombies themselves.
