We have been trying some more Coffee shops recently and we needed to tell you guys about it…
This is a short blog with a few solo visits as we have been busy and not together that much.
Freshbake Bagel – Stoke Newington
I had walked past here a number of times but never really taken any notice – the other day this all changed! The coffee was really nice! The service was also really quick and friendly. Bob got a Black Americano that was fruity and soft the only bad thing was it was a little small. There was also lots of food options!
#FINJ Juicery – Stoke Newington.
It seemed almost a shame not to get a smoothie but instead we opted for a Oat Milk Mocha. The service a little slow, we think they needed more staff as the one person working was busy making endless andwiches. The drinks were nice but they were a little small…
Batch Baby – Rose Lipman Building
Almost always packed with a lot of Laptop workers all day long, this former library is now a lot of offices and workshops with the coffee shop in the foyer. We tried the coffee eventually after passing it for months.
The staff are really friendly and it has that real ‘Trendy’ Vibe, you know mismatched tables and a broken window, the Shabby Chic of Haggerston/Dalston.
The Coffee however was very small and all the chocolate was at the bottom.
Lucky Tea – Hornsey
Really unassuming shop, friendly staff and the drink came really quickly. Bob got an Oat-milk Brown Sugar Milk Tea.
It’s in what we term ‘Stinky Road’ in Holloway, always downwind from the Refuse Dump. Never a pleasant smell.
The drink was pretty good, the cup was huge! The only real bad thing was some of the Boba was uncooked and still hard.
So thats that – we will be back next week for…….. who knows?
