Has your skin been plagued recently with dryness? With winter breakouts? or Maskne?
Well hopefully this post will help with all of that and help keep your skin glowing and happy.
I am plagued with dry sensitive skin – as you may know from previous posts and since trying out various skin products (mostly from Wishtrend) I have found my rhythm – and cleared my skin up (mostly)
Only suffering from the occasional breakout.
So here are the sheet masks I have tried and then the sheet masks I have tried and use weekly.
Starting with the worst and ending with the best.
Wishtrend had sent me a number of the Rovectin line to review – So I never purchased them myself. The masks come in a multi pack of 5. The shape was alright and the moisture level was good too. However it did not work for my skin, it is supposed to treat acne and redness by hydrating and repairing but instead made my skin itchy, red and the following day I broke out like crazy and had dry skin that I couldn’t get any moisture into for days afterward.
Another multi pack this one containing 12 varieties. The masks have a good moisture level but are made for a much larger face. Again I noticed that there was not a long lasting effect and some of the variations are not vegan friendly and can leave a stinging effect.
Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Sheet Mask
I love Klairs and find a lot of their products impossible to live without, however this is not one of these products. Although the Midnight Blue Calming Cream works well this just leaves an unpleasant stinging, itchy sensation whilst on and then leaves your skin really dry the following day.
Probably the best value for money given that you get a selection of 16 different sheet masks, however I didn’t find it actually did anything for my skin. The sheet itself is cut quite well but has a tendency to rip and also dry out within a couple of minutes of use.
This was one of the pricer masks I have ever bought, at £5.00 for one. I liked the Jelly texture instead of the sheet mask and the pattern is quite cute. I noticed a cooling effect so it would probably be refreshing in the summer but not really providing any other benefits.
There are four options of masks from the Body Shop but I have only tried 3. All three of them have been quite good, the cost is not brilliant for a one of use. The Shape wasn’t bad, the texture and the moisture was good too. To be fair I would be more likely to stick to the other types of masks as they last a long time and are some of my tried and tested.
Garnier Skin Active Sheet Mask
These are the really good – decent price and nice smell. The sheets are a little thin but they are pretty good. My skin was left moisturized and felt good.
Wishtrend – Natural Vitamin 21.5 Enhancing Sheet Mask
This is one of my favorite masks for so many reasons. The shape fits perfectly, the moisture levels are brilliant and it leaves your skin refreshed and moisturized for the following day. You are better off to buy in one of the beauty bundle for a good deal.
Klairs – Rich Moist Soothing Tencel Sheet Mask
Without fail this can calm my skin if it’s red, dry or just in need of a pick me up. I can feel tightness leaving and it soothes without irritation. The sheet comes in 2 sections a top half and bottom which you lay out on your face to better fit, even with this it is a little large! But that is its only draw back.
Not currently available in anything other than the hydrating package but to be fair every single item in the package is a 5* to me. This mask is the best one I have tried thus far, in two sections, the fit is pretty good, the moisture level packs a punch! My skin is instantly refreshed and plumped and stays moisturized for a couple of days afterwards. To say I love this mask is a understatement!
So there you go!
There is my run down of masks.
If you want hydrated skin and love a bargain do remember to use my Wishtrend affiliate code to get the best prices that you can and if you act soon there is a Luna New Year offer on all products.
