It’s a New Year but we still need Coffee! So here is the first Coffee Shop review of 2023
Another of the Colicci Chain in another park of London, the staff were distracted by sorting out a re-fit of the kiosk, but it was as good a coffee as ever. There isn’t much else to say!
Rosso Potter’s Bar Station
On the platform there is a little kiosk and a single Barista serving, it was late for a UK Coffee Shop – as in past 4pm – but the Barista was pretty clueless and struggled to understand the order of a Black Americano with a little cold water (and an Oat Mocha), but we got there in the end and it was a decent coffee and they were large cups!
Another new location us recently has been Potter’s Bar due to the dog having to go for treatment (see last week’s post) But while waiting for the bus, we saw a Caffe Nero and decided to test out our other favourite chain. It’s the standard interior and the Barista was really nice, a Typical Nero really, good coffee, good service.
Mum’s Kitchen & Cafe N16
REALLY EXPENSIVE cakes and salads – For example he slithers of Panatone (at the front of the photo) were £7. The server had no idea what I was saying when ordering – the cold water issue again!
But we got there in the end and the coffee was… well it was ok but not great, hence…
Esquire’s N1
Since this place opened at the end 2022 we have been there a few times (we even have a loyalty card!) The cups are Massive and staff are really friendly. There isn’t anything else to say when it’s all this good!
Well there you go a good start to the year in terms of coffee shops.
A fairly short post in all, but what more do we need to say?!
Come back next week for more.
