As usual we had to get our fix whilst we were on Holiday so here is a run down of all the coffee shops in Busan.
Gamcheon Village Coffee – From Choi
We walked a lot around Gamcheon and spotted a fair few coffee shops in the village, but we had seen Yao Tea House and had intended on doing a Korean Tea Ceremony, but it turned out to be fairly expensive and you could only make Green Tea (Which Ash hates). So instead we climbed the stairs to From Choi and sat and watched the visitors running around in Hanboks and taking hundreds of photos from the terrace. The Coffee took quite a while – but with the view it was easily passed. The drinks themselves were good, so we were happy!
Forest Cafe

Just by our hotel we found this rather large coffee shop, but we ordered from the window to Take Away as we had a bus to catch. We asked for iced (Americano for Bob an Earl Grey Tea for Ash (As it was only 11am! Too early for coffee!) But instead of cold we got hot coffee so we had to head next door to the shop to buy some ice cups.
That being said it wasn’t bad! They were huge cups!
The Vegan bakery that is raved about on Happy Cow and we can certainly understand why!
We got a crookie (A Cookie Croissant), a Vegan Bingsu and Two Iced Vegan Mochas and went to find a step to sit on and watch the passing locals in the backstreets. All of our choices were delicious and the owner was really nice too!

High on top of the Hwangnyeongsan in Busan is a view to be seen and even better is a Cafe with a view, that stays open until 2am serving coffee and cake! Imagine that! A coffee shop selling coffee at night! You know your not in London anymore when you hear that! We got an Iced Strawberry Latte, A Iced Mocha and Lemon cake – this was delicious! This is where we discovered Korean milk is lactose free…
The cake super soft and gooey yum and the coffees were so delicious!
Leaving Busan for our next section of the holiday meant heading to the airport and having checked in and having to wait for the 3 hours as you do, we had to get coffee and well Mega Coffee is aptly named. 1 – The cups are really as big as you’ve heard, like over a litre of coffee 2. so much choice in Latte’s, Mochas, Fruits flavours, Milk teas, Coffee, Teas, Smoothies, Shakes and even a smoothie tea shake coffee combos if you just can’t choose! Coffffffeeeeeeee! We ended up with 2 Iced Brown Sugar Milk tea Latte! The only issue was there was a lot of ice in them!
Well there you go, a coffee post from somewhere different and now the Coffee Shop Map has grown a bit more. There will be more again soon and next week we will tell you about our time in Jeju, so come back for that, or subscribe to the email list and get the post emailed directly to you!
