As It is the time of year for Lists. We’ve given you our Annual Top 100 Celebrities for 2025 and now it is time for another. Being as we are really into music we thought we would share with you our favourite songs of the year.

So below are the links to two Spotify Playlists ** for Both Ash & Bob’s Top 30 New Releases of 2025 So in no particular order of preference in the lists and a reason why it’s added to our lists. You will see and hear (please play the playlist through as you read why), the differences in our tastes and the occasional matching track …

Ash Playlist

  • Hot – Le Sserafim – After the bad, bad ‘Girls’ of 2024 it was refreshing to get such a great Album and a catchy Title Track.
  • Ash – Le Sserafim – Bob called this, it sounds like old Kylie Minogue and I was huge Kylie fan, so i was going to love it!
  • Imaginary Friend – ITZY – This originally came out in 2024, but the Final Version was re-released in 2025 and features Lia’s beautiful vocals and it makes the song sooo much better.
  • What it Sounds Like – Ejae, Audrey Nuna &Rei Ami (Huntrex (KPDH OST) – The Sensation of 2025 KPop Demon Hunters was a revelation and after listening to the Soundtrack a LOT I like this track the most, it grows, soars and has real depth to the feeling and mood.
  • Kill ma Bo$$ – Kiiiras – My Ringtone for Bob! I loved this Country Sound, it was so different, I heard it once and instantly had to order the Album!
  • La La Love Me – VIVIZ – Eunha singing in a lower range is always my favourite tracks on the VIVIZ albums and this is a beautiful track.
  • #QWER- QWER – I tried QWER last year and wasn’t so impressed, I tried again this year and something is different and now I’ll happily call myself a Bawige (Stan/Fan). This is a great track and they play actual instruments and a completely BONKERS!!
  • Q&A – TripleS – This is the Whole Group, all 24 members and it’s really catchy and sweet.
  • Christmas Alone – TripleS – An actual Christmas Song! A cute video and a song that gets stuck in your head for days.
  • Slide – Kiss of Life – I like Kiss Of Life, even though they shouldn’t be my Cup of Tea and Slide shouldn’t be a tone of my favourite tracks of the year, yet here it is!
  • Dirty Work – AESPA – This is MY Favourite Group, they haven’t made a track I haven’t liked and this is the best they released this year and this version is the best version ‘It’s me, It’s Me, Little Baddie’!
  • Cold – YoungPosse (Feat 10cm) – A very different sound to the version without 10cm, this is a lovely sound and one I visualise a Music Video to every time I hear it.
  • Fix a Drink – Jeongyeon (Twice) – This is another Country Song, think Carrie Underwood does KPop.
  • Lost & Found – Purple Kiss – 😒 This is Purple Kiss’s last Album, they disbanded this year after the release of this album and when they can still produce music like this it is a waste – I am a Plory no more!😒.
  • There They Go – KiiiKiii – Another debut act and a fun, cute and different sound that I really liked, hopefully 2026 will give us more from KiiiKiii.
  • I Do Me – KiiiKiii- This sounds like one of those songs you’ve known forever, not a new song, from a new band. One play and you’ll be singing along!
  • それしか言えない – HAKU – This Japanese 4 piece have some great tunes and I wish they would come to the UK to perform.
  • Loose – Enhypen – We saw Enhypen in concert this year and it’s one of my highlights of 2025, the new single went down so well with the crowd and it just stuck in my memory.
  • Panic – Beomgyu – A surprise solo track from the ‘Bratty’ one of TXT this is a great sort of Indie Band track.
  • Goodbyes and Sad Eyes – Moonbyul – Another of those tracks you hear and think is an old song you haven’t heard in years, Moonbyul is strange in her music style, you never know what you’ll get on this album alone there must be 10 different genre styles!
  • Kiss a Kitty – Chuu – Yeeees, right, well if there was ever any doubt about Ms. Kim Ji-Woo’s orientation, then I think it’s been made very clear with one of the catchiest songs of 25!
  • Hello Stranger – Kwon Eunbi – A am a real RUBI (Fan) of Ms. Kwon and love everything she produces, this was another great track, how could you not like this one?!
  • 宿命 – Stray Kids – We saw these guys in July and the show is spectacular, this Track from Hollow is my fav – I clearly like their Japanese Singles the most.
  • Adonis – FiftyFifty – I know this is a single lyric song, but I’m not one for complex lyrics, i want a story that i can understand and this is just that, a girl telling us about the cute boy in her class – Simple!
  • Drift – AESPA – The best song on the Rich Man album by far. The whistling is so simple, you just have to put your lips together and blow!
  • Not Cute Anymore – Illit – The catchiest song of the year award goes to… Go on grab someone’s hoodie and make them run on the spot (IYKYK)!!
  • 奥二重で見る – Haku – My second song by the Indie Japanese Four-Piece, more hum along chords and simple tunes, please check them out if there is only one band on this list that you look up, they need a bigger audience!
  • Freestyle – YoungPosse – I shouldn’t like this song, when I named this as one of my fav’s of the year, Bob double took me, I have a real Love/Hate mentality with Rap, it has to have a particular sound, speed and style and this is exactly it.
  • Heartbreak – FiftyFifty – Again with the FiftyFifty! Yes more straight forward lyrics, telling the story as it is, no saying one thing to mean another, she’s had one break up this year, she doesn’t want another!
  • Different – Le Sserafim – Every time I hear this song, i want to jump and twist on the spot, this song makes you want to dance, like most Le Sserafim songs! So… GO DANCE…

Bob’s Playlist

  • Helium – Enhypen – One of the more catchy songs on the album, one I catch myself humming quite a lot.
  • Flashover – Enhypen – A Completely different sound for Enhypen with this song, I think it’s a perfect clubbing song, one that would likely be a huge hit.
  • Outside – Enhypen – The beat drop just does it for me! It’s impossible for me not to listen to this loudly.
  • Escape – Bang Chan & Hyunjin (Stray Kids) – Well this duo (Bang Chan and Hyunjin) do make a good team! After Red lights I was looking forward to this, as it almost tells the rest of the story. I’m also liking that it reminds me of Imagine Dragons.
  • Truman – Han & Felix (Stray Kids) – Ok first listen I didn’t get this song, after a couple of listens it’s the song I keep going back to. I really like the style and speed and the delivery.
  • Bleep – Stray Kids – Catchy, fun – I guess for me it’s the new Cheese, a song from a couple of albums back, the lyrics are very poignant – basically saying criticism and disses are just static to them.
  • Holiday – Stray Kids – I heard this once and came to the conclusion this is my theme tune! So relatable!
  • Come Play – Stray Kids, Young Miko & Tom Morello – I really like the sound of this song, plus I always love when Stray Kids are on a soundtrack.
  • Gnarly – Katseye – This songs lyrics are so unbelievably crap but damn catchy, it actually became one of my most listened to.
  • Fix a Drink – Jeongyeon (Twice) – I was quite taken back by this song, it was so different but I’m really loving the country style to this.
  • Free – Ejae & Andrew Choi (Rumi & Jinu KPDH OST) – From all of the songs in Kpop Demon Hunters this was my favorite, literally I have listened to multiple versions and never got bored.
  • Band Aid – KickFlip – KickFlip grabbed me as soon as I heard this, more emo/pop/rock than the average Kpop song but still fun.
  • My First Love Song – KickFlip – Again my emo heart is happy with this song.
  • In Your Fantasy – Ateez – A very sexy song, I’m liking the direction Ateez has taken this comeback.
  • ICONIK – ZeroBaseOne – Just a fun song, its light, happy and makes you want to dance.
  • Dumb – ZeroBaseOne – A silly little earworm but it has been a repetitive play for me.
  • 1& Only – Xlov – I guess this is the song that got me into Xlov, I really like the vocals.
  • Scent – Xlov – This is definitely a bedroom song if ever I heard one, the vocals are very sultry and the lyrics suggestive.
  • Skyfall – The 8 (Seventeen) – This is a song I listen to ALOT my brain just switches off and enjoys which is very rare for me.
  • Shake it Of – Mingyu (Seventeen) – Just a fun song that is especially good for working out, the beat really keeps time well.
  • Sugar Rush – BIBI – I love this song! love the video! I mean it’s cute, its suggestive and once I’ve heard it I can’t get it out of my head for weeks.
  • Scott & Zelda – BIBI – A softer sound for Bibi with cheeky lyrics although the music video didn’t make much sense.
  • Blind Eyes Red – Minnie – Another sexy song – this time it sounded almost like a response to Bang Chans “Railway” which grabbed my attention straight away.
  • FXCK Up The World (Vixi Solo Version) – Lisa – Now I listen to this if I want to feel like I want to do exactly what the song says. It’s fun and stress relieving and the lyrics make sense.
  • New Woman – Lisa (Feat Rosalia) – I love this song, literally have listened to it so many times! I have no real point of why I like it, it just grabs my attention.
  • When Did You Get Hot – Sabrina Carpenter – One of my only western artists that I listen to. The song is Cheeky, Fun and catchy like most of Sabrina Carpenter’s music.
  • Hands Up – MEOVV – Another song that I listen to and my mind can be silent, just listening to the beat.
  • Gala – XG – A song that makes me think of fashion events, voguing and glamour – it’s a good song to get ready to.
  • DUH – P1Harmony – I never really liked P1Harmony until this song and since this the singles have all been hits! It’s not life changing lyrics but it’s fun, catchy and easy.
  • No Biggie (Final Version) – ITZY – I only really like the Korean version which is strange because with Itzy its normally the Japanese singles I like. However this works!
