This year has been very up and down in very dramatic ways – let us (re)count the ways.
January
The year got off to a pretty shitty start!
Ms Solo – Ash’s support dog ended up with a rare infection in her spine and was on the verge of having to be put down – at the last moment we were given a little shimmer of hope in the form of a specific strain of antibiotics – within a day she started to improve – we are forever thankful for whatever miracle that was – but for that whole month (with the exception of the miracle) it was pretty shit.
February
Bob was back at Korean Language class, Ash was back creating and Ms Solo was recovering – we decided to go back to walking the CMHOL – this time with the dog in a rucksack on Bob’s back. We saw some interesting new places, tried new coffee and took some good photos/videos.
March
Bob began her gym trials – topped a couple of her PB’s and even maxed out a couple of machines. Ash reviewed a couple of film scanners and continued to post on youtube.
April
Ms Solo began Hydrotherapy (Weekly) at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Bob began growing fruit and veg in a Hydroponic Machine and Ash made some random creative stuff for Youtube.
May
Ash made a review of all things Camera/video and sound. We were still going to Battersea – so took a trip to the Power Station. Bob continued on with Language class.
June
We spent a lot of time wishing we were in Korea – First the Korea Wave in the V&A and then the Korea Now Festival . Going to new restaurants and drinking a lot of Soju with new friends!
July
We went to the Barbican Conservatory which although pretty – did not live up to our expectations. We also went on the Uber Boat - at least we did it!
August
Bob got a Shipment from Wishtrend to review, Ash made a Slug Wizard and we all went to the Olympia for the Beer Festival again. Ms Solo was the star of the show of course!
September
We finally managed to convince some friends to come on the Bermondsey Beer Mile with us. Other than that we drank a lot of Coffee and copious amounts of beer and Bob had the best hot dog she has ever tasted! Bobs dog – Bracken got diagnosed with Kidney issues – but thankfully is doing ok.
October
Bob attended a Kpop Event (If you can call it that) then spent most of the rest of the month doing Inktober. Ash filmed us doing the Monster bash contest. Plus we went to Trent park to explore some more.
November
We returned to Bermondsey to Brew our Own Beer which has subsequently turned into a disaster!
We went to Battersea Park to explore. Ash built a Dungeon (not a Kinky one) Bob did a lot of homework!
December
Christmas approached – we went to go for our yearly Lights and Mulled Wine Walk. Bob’s class ended for the term. Ash made Christmas Decorations. Solo made a vast improvement. Bracken chewed his foot a lot!
That was our 2023 in a nutshell hopefully next year will bring some new (nice) adventures! Hope to see you there and we wish you a Happy New Year!
